After we ran our Portrait Photography Xtreme course for the first time, our students told us they felt they'd learned the most from the hands-on Mega Shoot component. We also noticed that they were hungry for more. More hands-on shooting. More practice with directing and posing their subjects. More opportunities to take family and group portraits. More practice at editing images to make them the best they can possibly be. Just ... more. And, like we always try to do, we listened. Our Portrait Photography Club is designed to give you more of the experiential learning you love.

There is really no better time than fall in New England to get outside into the crisp, fresh air and take advantage of the stunning, colorful backdrop so generously provided by nature.

Portrait Photography Club runs in 4-week modules. For now, there are two. You can participate in one or both, as you choose and as your schedule allows. In each module, you'll spend a couple of Wednesday evenings in the studio, exercising your mad posing and lighting skills. Then, we'll get outside on a Saturday or Sunday morning for a couple of hours of portrait practice with real, live models. (Wondering why we're taking one of your weekend mornings? Well, as beautiful as a New England fall is, there is no denying that darkness comes early. That makes it a must to have our outdoor session in the morning hours.) Each module will wrap up with an evening back in the studio, where you will hone your editing talents, making the shots you captured outside as stunningly beautiful as a multi-colored maple leaf.
